with DJ Set by Roi Perez

The Neue Nationalgalerie is continuing a relatively new tradition this year and invites all Berliners to use its famous outdoor terrace as their morning meeting spot to dance and get in the mood with a world-class DJ set before the Christopher Street Day parade passes by the famous Mies van der Rohe building!

Following performances by Honey Dijon and Tom Peters, none other than Roi Perez will be in the DJ booth this year.

  • Start: 11:00 a.m.
  • Music starts at: 12:00 p.m.
  • Estimated arrival of the parade: 1:00 p.m.

Admission is free.

With his distinctive artistic approach, Roi Perez’s extended DJ sets get dance floors moving and bring indoor and outdoor spaces of all kinds into a shared, harmonious rhythm.

The Berlin-based DJ channels all his artistic energy into his sets, creating long, rhythmic narratives that oscillate between exuberant energy and gentleness.

Thanks to an ever-growing record collection, his sets range from groovy house to organic techno to the flirtatious heartbeat of a good ballroom. His decade-long residency at Panorama Bar has shaped his signature sound.

In Berghain’s most playful room, Perez has refined a style of mixing that feels expansive without losing any of its intimacy. That same spirit accompanies him to Dekmantel, the Glastonbury Festival, and other stages worldwide. Perez’s own party, “LAUNDRETTE,” takes dance music back to its queer roots through time-stretching sets and a deep attunement to the collective resonance of the space.
