Two friends. One problem. No money. Sometimes, at fifteen, you decide what you no longer want to believe in. Issa has long since given up on romantic love—her family’s financial worries are too overwhelming, her parents’ shattered dreams too obvious.
At home, every euro counts, while she attends a high school full of rich kids. The only one who gives her support is Grace: bold and convinced that money is, above all, a solvable problem. When Issa’s family finds itself in an existential crisis, the two friends decide to take matters into their own hands. At the same time, Grace has a problem of her own: her breasts have suddenly grown enormously, and she’s in pain. She wants to have surgery. But her health insurance won’t cover it. The two embark on a financial odyssey that forces them to cross boundaries—both moral and social.
