The 15th Diabetes Charity Gala will take place on October 16, 2026. This anniversary also marks 15 years of continuous commitment to bringing the situation of the approximately 11 million people with diabetes in Germany into the public eye and to raising awareness of this widespread disease in a sustainable way.

When celebrities from the entertainment industry and decision-makers from the business, political, and healthcare sectors come together with people living with diabetes, the result is an evening that is both entertaining and socially significant.
The focus is on the shared goal of establishing diabetes more firmly as an issue for society as a whole and drawing attention to the challenges faced by those affected, as well as to important support and research projects.
The program includes entertainment and musical performances, the presentation of the Thomas Fuchsberger Award, entertaining speeches, the introduction of selected charitable projects, and the presentation of donation checks.
Numerous prominent guests have already confirmed their attendance, including actresses Esther Schweins and Janine Kunze, TV hosts Anke Harnack and Jörg Draeger, reality TV star Hubert Fella, and Olympic skeleton athlete Anna Fernstädt. From the influencer scene, Lyn Künstner from Dresden—who lives with type 1 diabetes herself—is among those expected to attend. Georg Stengel will provide the evening’s musical entertainment with his hit “Ich steh auf!”
