Literary City Tour with Michael Bienert
Irmgard Keun’s *Das kunstseidene Mädchen* is one of the most widely read novels set in Berlin during the Weimar Republic. On Kurfürstendamm, Doris, the protagonist, goes out in search of men. The biographical and literary settings are clustered closely around the Gedächtniskirche.
The guided tour with curator Michael Bienert begins at the exhibition on the Romanisches Café, where Irmgard Keun was a regular.
