The secret of the beauty and sorrow we see: collapsing buildings, hungry glances, giggling little children who want to know everything, holding hands, the piles of pillows on the side of the road, the poor architectural decisions made for cheap reasons, sensing the cause and effect of a decision, standing in line, rushing into the crowd, the longing.

L2/are we listening
“L2/are we listening” is a continuation and expansion of the piece “L/are we dreaming,” created last summer by Sara Shelton Mann and Jesse Zaritt. The exploration of themes of belonging, beauty, mortality, joy, and loss will be deepened this year in collaboration with Niall Jones.
The interdisciplinary performance centers its exploration on dance movements, complemented by images, text, sound, and light.
