Legendary pianist Martha Argerich takes the stage alongside the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Marios Papadopoulos. The audience can look forward to an evening full of color, character, and the joy of music-making with one of Britain’s leading orchestras.
The centerpiece of the program is Camille Saint-Saëns’ sparkling “The Carnival of the Animals,” which showcases Argerich’s virtuosity in an inimitable way—complemented by texts recited by her daughter Annie.
