The band THE GAUKLERS is giving a concert. Two performers and a musician sing and act out the story of Empress Antonia.

Antonia is in the midst of preparing for a parade “to share her happiness with the whole world.” But the invited guests would rather attend the event hosted by her younger rival, Princess DD.
Antonia’s world continues to fall apart; she despairs over the impossible demands placed on her as a woman—and sees the only solution she knows: a new dress.
So the musician and performer slip into the role of con artists—er, consultants. As life coaches, they promise Antonia and the audience insight and bliss. The only condition: blind trust. After they’ve talked the empress out of even her last shirt, they vanish into thin air. And now?
A beginning is to ask. And to look. To look at ourselves. At each other.
