Using quarter-tone trumpets of their own design, Maalouf and his band open up new sonic and interactive spaces where Arab traditions and avant-garde trance music flow into one another with emotional depth and playful ease.
Carried by the highest level of virtuosity, musical curiosity, and the energy of ensemble playing, they transform the cleared-out Great Hall of the Konzerthaus into a dance floor.
