At Dialogue in the Dark, you immerse yourself in complete darkness and discover the city in a way no guidebook can describe. You move through Berlin scenes you think you know. But without light, familiar places lose their certainty. Sounds grow louder. Smells speak. The ground beneath your feet tells a story.
Nature is there. History, too. And the Berlin that’s still awake at night, when most people are already asleep.
You’ll be guided exclusively by blind and visually impaired guides—people who are at home in this darkness. They know every step, every sound, every turn. Suddenly, you’re the learner. Suddenly, they’re the experts.
We won’t reveal what awaits you in each room. Just this much: Berlin has left traces that you’ll discover for yourself in the dark. You’ll realize what they are once you’re there.
At the end, the Dunkelbar awaits: a place to settle in, share stories, and let the experience linger.
