To kick off Pride Month, Sofa Queen Cali Harburg takes her audience on a performative tour through the light and shadow of these turbulent decades.
Amid the works in the exhibition, she tells stories rarely shared during a traditional museum tour—with encyclopedic knowledge, fiery passion, and an unmistakably queer perspective on a city and an era that were more modern than they are often portrayed.
