Themed tour of the Grünau Water Sports Museum

To this day, water sports are often viewed as a pastime of the upper class—elegant sailboats, mahogany yachts, and exclusive clubs dominate the scene. But is there any truth to this perception? Does social class still play a decisive role in the practice of these sports?

In this interactive thematic tour of the exhibition, participants explore class-based inclusions and exclusions in the history of water sports. The question that always arises is: How can water sports contribute to social participation today?

After the tour, participants can pick up a free drink at the café in the KulturTribüne Grünau and enjoy it right by the water. The café is part of the Ortsverein Grünau e.V., which offers a diverse cultural program.
