The permanent exhibition presents the history of the Huguenots in Berlin and Brandenburg from its beginnings to the present day in a contemporary manner.
The focus is on the broader context of pan-European migration following the Reformation, the reasons behind the Huguenots’ flight, the history of their reception, and their contribution to the history of Berlin-Brandenburg. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to explore the themes of flight, life in exile, and integration from a historical perspective.
The digital and museum education offerings for the public have since been improved.
The new permanent exhibition at this historically authentic site features a modern, intercultural, and multilingual design.
