Antique Mile Suarezstrasse

Due to two large construction sites on Suarezstraße, the Antiques Mile is being extended as far as Kaiserdamm and from there into Windscheidstraße.

The result: for the first time – when viewed from above – the course of the streets forms the letter ‘A’ for ‘Antiques’.

Grand opening

At 12.30 pm, District Mayor Bauch will officially open the 25th Antiques Mile – in front of ‘Chalet Antik 58’.

50 Years of the Suarezstraße Volunteer Fire Brigade

The fire brigade is celebrating its golden jubilee outside the Suarezstraße fire station with exciting activities for young and old alike – a special highlight for all visitors.

This year’s festival poster was designed by Anke Feuchtenberger, an artist and professor at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. A limited edition of 10 colour screen prints of the poster is available, which customers can order on site or online.

Exclusive furniture collection

Designed for the 25th Antikmeile and on display in person, the ‘Zeitwerk’ furniture collection can be viewed directly at ZeitlosbyDrozd, Suarezstraße 61. It is strictly limited in number and handcrafted in Berlin.

Stylish supporting programme

The event kicks off with performances by Berlin-based artists, featuring music and art, which will ensure a varied and sophisticated experience throughout the day.

Culinary variety

Along the festival route, stalls and cafés invite visitors to enjoy treats both big and small – from coffee and cake to international specialities.

Rare, time-honoured and hand-picked antiques, design pieces and art objects from all stylistic periods, from Biedermeier through Art Nouveau and Art Deco to the present day: furniture made from fine woods, paintings, porcelain, knick-knacks, chandeliers, mantel clocks, one-of-a-kind jewellery, historical linen and clothing, folk art and Asian artefacts.

The range is further enriched by contemporary glass art, fashion, jewellery and upcycled pieces.

Every year, on the first Saturday in September, the Suarezstraße Trade Association organises a festival – the Suarezstraße Antiques Mile, which celebrates Germany’s unique art and antiques mile (Antikmeile) in Berlin-Charlottenburg and attracts up to 30,000 visitors.
