Tragic-comic interlude

The Britz Summer Opera is back! A masterpiece seduces friends of the "Little Opera" to indulge in the music of Giovanni Battista Martini on mild summer evenings.

Don Quixote and his servant Sancho Panza grapple with giants the size of windmills or fire-breathing dragons. But unfortunately a real knight doesn't know how to deal with Amazons.

Fortunately, a mysterious treasure comes into play and promises a happy ending. Padre Martini, with whom the young Mozart also apprenticed, was a famous opera and church composer. With his opera jewel, premiered in Bologna in 1746, the successful tradition of the Britz summer opera is resumed.

Tension, humor and seductive music make the summer evening in Britz unforgettable.
