With 'Que reste-t-il de nos amours?' or 'Y a d'la joie' he forever shaped French chanson with his unique blend of poetry, fantasy and melancholy. A beautiful journey to France to a time long gone but beating on in our hearts.... "Boum" - Quand votre coeur fait "Boum"!

Cécile Rose, French singer alias actress Sylvie Krause-Grégoire, trained at the "Jacques Lecoq" State School and the "Annie Fratellini Circus", graduated from the Jean Brassat Theatre Workshop (1989) and has lived in Berlin since 2001.

In 2012 she made her debut in the Wabe (Berlin) on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Trio Scho.

In November 2014 she opened the "Festival de la Chanson Française" in the Corbo (Berlin) with her programme "Bals Perdus" and has since then performed with Trio Scho on cabaret stages in Berlin and nationwide (2017 in Paris).
With the accordionist Valery Khoryshman she presents the programme "Piaf & Les Bals Perdus", which they developed together on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Edith Piaf.

Vincent Julien Piot (Berlin/France), a pianist trained in Poitiers, Paris and Berlin, has lived in Germany since the mid-90s.

Pianistically, he feels most at home with Debussy, Mozart, Schubert and Schönberg. He devotes a substantial part of his musical activity to vocal accompaniment and improvisation with a repertoire that includes songs, melodies and chansons of the last three centuries. His music has taken him on the piano, harpsichord or pianoforte to Italy, France, Austria, Poland and Romania, Switzerland and the USA.

The Café Lyrik in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg offers live music in an intimate, cosy atmosphere four days a week.

The café is only open for the four selected concerts in the areas of chanson, klezmer, tango and jazz from Wednesday to Saturday from 7 pm.
