The exhibition tells how Lichtenberg became what it is today and what makes it so special. The focus is on the themes of working - living - changing. The permanent exhibition wants to enable visitors to explore the district and its history in their own way. They can follow different tracks and see things from a different, surprising perspective. History is not only told in the new permanent exhibition, it is also brought to life through the staging.
Visitors can expect a museum for everyone: children and young people, newcomers, the curious, old residents and connoisseurs of the city's history - they are all invited to discover Lichtenberg and its history from different perspectives, on different paths and with all their senses.
