The orchestra, a Slovenian brass band, tours Austria for the festival in a rented coach. Alcohol and drinking rituals give structure to the journey from early morning until late at night. Anyone who has ever been on a school trip knows about the dynamics of groups. No matter who sleeps with whom in which room, whether loud or quiet type: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

But the director Matevž Luzar, once a travelling brass band musician himself and a theologian in his first profession, loves his protagonists. Even if garden gnomes are smashed with a sledgehammer in revenge, it's better than "an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth".
