On 12 and 13 September 2026, the historic Berlin-Mariendorf trotting track will once again host the Breeders Crown! Two days packed with speed, excitement and thrills – and a weekend that has far more to offer than just top-class equestrian sport.

Alongside the German Trotting Derby, the Breeders Crown is one of the most significant events in German trotting.
In races divided by age and gender, some of the finest trotters will face off against outstanding sulky drivers. At stake in 2026 is a total prize fund of well over 300,000 euros – and, of course, the coveted crowns.
1 PS meets plenty of PS
This year, the interplay of elegance, dynamism and speed takes on a very special dimension: Mercedes-Benz is the official sponsor of the 2026 Breeders Crown Meeting.
On the course, the impressive athleticism of our trotters meets the high-powered world of Mercedes-Benz. A large fleet of vehicles invites visitors to explore, staff are on hand to answer questions about the models on display, and test drives are also planned.

A racing weekend for the whole family
Even if you’ve never been to a trotting track before, the Breeders Crown is the perfect place for you. Mariendorf combines top-class sport with a special experience for young and old alike. In previous years, the Breeders Crown has been explicitly organised as a family event, featuring an extensive programme of activities and a wide range of catering options.
In 2026, younger guests can look forward to bouncy castles, painting, crafts, play areas, pony rides and a VR experience, amongst other things. Our ‘Meet the Racehorse’ guided tours take you right up close to the real stars of the weekend. Added to this are a prize draw with valuable prizes, a wide range of food and drink options, and various ways to enjoy the racing action in the Panorama Restaurant, the Tea House or on the finish line lawn.
And then there’s that one moment: the horses turn into the home straight, the pace picks up, the crowd gets caught up in the excitement – and an afternoon at the racecourse becomes an experience you’ll never forget.
