„Neun“ photographers bring together personal narratives that explore photography as a documentary form. They tell stories of overcoming gender-based violence, human-animal relationships and family ties.

The works range from underground burlesque to sacrificial zones in Lapland to architectural heritage and collective memory.
The projects were created as part of a year-long seminar at the Ostkreuz School of Photography with Mustafah Abdulaziz as mentor.
