In cooperation with Alexander Kulpok, the Förderkreis Reinickendorf invites you to a themed evening dedicated to the life and enduring legacy of Anne Frank at the Humboldt Library in Tegel.
The event will explore the relevance of her diary entries for contemporary remembrance culture in the context of current social challenges.
"Despite everything, I still believe that people are good at heart."
Viktoria Nahm, director of the Anne Frank Centre Berlin, will discuss contemporary forms of remembrance and educational outreach work with young Anne Frank ambassadors. She will also place the fate of the Jewish girl in today's context as a warning against exclusion and hatred.
The programme combines historical documentation with artistic elements, with video and audio recordings, as well as readings from the diary, complemented by musical accompaniment from Stefan Rudko (piano) and Daniele Covello (clarinet). This event aims to contribute to historical and political education in the local area, offering the opportunity for further discussion afterwards.
Admission is free.
After the event, you are invited to enjoy complimentary drinks.
