In 1933, Kästner's books were burned by the Nazis. From 1927 to 1945, he lived in Berlin, and in the 1960s, he also spent time in Hermsdorf am Waldsee.

Writing Workshop at a Historic Site with Claudia Johanna Bauer
The writing workshop begins with a guided tour of the site. Here, we will find inspiration. Afterward, at the Reinickendorf Museum, we will creatively develop and write our own short texts, which we can then present over a relaxing cup of coffee.
- The "On-Site Visit!" series is a collaboration between the Adult Education Center (VHS) and the Reinickendorf Museum.
