ZWISCHENRÄUME brings together different choreographic voices and levels of training in a contemporary dance evening. It focuses on transitions, development, and the dialogue between individual experience and collective movement.
ZWISCHENRÄUME consists of six different choreographies. Four of them are performed each evening, with the order rotating.
A contemporary piece by Carlos Aller is created with the third year of training, with three dancers – Beatriz Moreno, Brenda Zevallos und Raissa Mamede – completing their studies through this performance. The choreography explores the moment of transition – the condensation of shared experiences, moments of pause, and the conscious act of moving forward. Clear structures, collective movement phrases, and finely nuanced dynamics create a space in which graduation is revealed not as a rupture, but as a continuous process.
The evening is further enriched by three graduation pieces by Ada Leonie Sanderell, Juna Mazzawi und Helena Pfisterer, each reflecting an individual choreographic voice and personal artistic inquiry. Together, these works express diversity, independence, and distinct perspectives, marking the completion of training as a self-determined artistic step.
A modern fusion piece by Esther Cowens, performed by the first and second year students, combines different styles into a dynamic and energetic choreography. Playfulness, musicality, and a shared joy of movement take center stage, offering insight into early phases of artistic development.
The evening concludes with a contemporary work by Kristina Nevidoma, created with the D7 intensive program. The piece focuses on presence, movement quality, and physical intensity, inviting the audience to experience movement as an immediate and concentrated encounter.
ZWISCHENRÄUME presents dance as a living process between beginning and completion, continuity and change, and between individual voice and collective form.
