The Waldsiedlung Zehlendorf, built between 1926 and 1932, is one of the major works of the famous architect Bruno Taut. It will be celebrated at the World Heritage Festival in 2026. As one of the largest and most attractive modernist housing estates in Germany, it has been proposed as a further location for Berlin's UNESCO World Heritage Site “Modernist Housing Estates.”

Visitors can expect a colorful program full of architecture, music, art, poetry, and culinary delights.
