In August, it's that time again: "NikolaiZauber" invites you to the family-friendly street arts festival in Berlin's Nikolaiviertel. This festival is a highlight of the year, transforming the Nikolaiviertel in Berlin-Mitte into a vibrant stage full of music, art, and surprises.
There's plenty to experience throughout the district – with artists, jugglers, magicians, clowns, street performers, historical games, and musical entertainment. The festival will be officially opened by District Mayor Stefanie Remlinger.
The program is colorful and diverse:
Numerous shops, cafés, and restaurants in the district will once again participate with special offers. Wood turners and woodcarvers will demonstrate their crafts in front of the "Erzgebirge Christmas Market." The Zille Museum will bring Berlin originals like Heinrich Zille, Eckensteher Nante, and the flower woman with her barrel organ to life.
For families with children, there's a special program of activities:
At the Knoblauchhaus, historical games invite you to participate, and there will be face painting and airbrush tattoos. Clowns like Lulu, Rosinchen, and Constance Debus will provide entertainment and good cheer.
Free guided tours of the Nikolai Quarter will be offered at 2 p.m. on both days.
A weekend full of street performances, music, and fun for the whole family!
The three museums of the Stadtmuseum Berlin in the Nikolai Quarter – Nikolaikirche, Ephraim-Palais, and Knoblauchhaus – will open their doors with free admission and special offers.
The "4rd NikolaiZauber" (4rd Nikolai Magic) will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.
