Triptych | Three Blank Pages explores identity as a narrative construct: Two women and a man tell their own stories and each other's through text, song, and movement.
Their narratives challenge assumptions about identity, memory, and the fictions that hold us captive. If identity is memory and memory is narrative, can alternative narratives emerge from individual as well as collective/national traumas?
The production deconstructs patriarchal structures, places queer, polyamorous relationships at its center, reveals new ways of dealing with the past, and contributes to the discussion about the limits of the individual's capacity to cope.
The performance unites text, music, songs, and contemporary dance into a flowing narrative stream.
A moderated discussion with the audience will be offered after each performance.
