*⟿ take a sheet of paper, a pen and a bowl of warm water⟿ tear the paper in half ⟿crumple up both halves⟿ unfold them again ⟿smooth them out*⟿ write a question about your bed folds on the first half⟿ write a question about the folds of other beds on the second half⟿ you can keep the questions to yourself ⟿ fold the papers at least three times and dip all four edges in water⟿ place them next to each other in your bedroom and leave them to dry overnight*⟿ bring the dried papers to the performance

Together with people for whom the bed is more than just a place where they sleep at night, Jeanne Eschert has developed the practice of bedfold reading. The performance provides an insight into the resulting ritual, which makes the bed appear as a magical place.
