Immerse yourself in the cultural history of Steglitz-Zehlendorf! On October 11 and 12, the Kulturkorso offers a weekend full of exciting discoveries.
In two guided tours on Saturday and two on Sunday, they will present the eventful history of the origins of the Düppel museum village. Join us on a journey through time from the discovery of the first traces of a medieval settlement to the excavations and the reconstruction of the historic village complex.
The opening as an open-air museum was only possible thanks to the tireless commitment of the Friends' Association. The history of the Düppel museum village is therefore inextricably linked to its support association. A separate exhibition describes the history of the association. The history of the museum can also be traced.
The Steglitz-Zehlendorf cultural parade
The Kulturkorso is a network of 14 cultural institutions in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district, mainly museums and exhibition venues. It was founded to promote the district's cultural diversity and offerings and to attract visitors. The participating institutions are embedded in an attractive natural and cultural landscape. They offer a wide range of experiences - from art and history to nature and recreation.
