Long Night of the Film Festivals

Presented by 25 Berlin film festivals: with children's cartoon box, films of all genres and from all over the world, indie concert and party.


Around 50 film festivals usually take place in Berlin every year - from the big Berlinale to smaller festivals such as kiezkieken or KUKI. 20 of them jointly organise the festival of festivals, the Long Night of Film Festivals.



The Long Night of Berlin Film Festivals is part of the 2023 Cultural Summer Festival and takes place in cooperation with Kulturprojekte Berlin.

11th Long Night of Berlin Film Festivals

The Filmrauschpalast Moabit will be transformed into a festival stage: 16 Berlin film festivals will present themselves open air and indoors!

On Saturday, 16 August 2025, 16 Berlin film festivals from the FESTIWELT e. V. network invite you to the 11th Long Night of Berlin Film Festivals at the Filmrauschpalast in the Kulturfabrik Moabit. From 5 p.m. until late into the night, audiences can look forward to a varied programme of award-winning films, German premieres, talks and open-air cinema – all on a donation basis (3–10 euros).


The Filmrauschpalast Moabit (Lehrter Str. 35, 10557 Berlin) will become a lively stage for Berlin's festival scene. A central concern is to bring Berliners closer to the diversity of local festivals. Festival initiators will be on site to present their programmes and talk to the audience. At the same time, the FESTIWELT members are sending a cultural and political message: despite their contribution to Berlin's cultural scene, many of the festivals do not receive any funding.
