MOVIE, MUSIC, PARTY

The network of Berlin film festivals Festiwelt presents the tenth edition of the Long Night of Film Festivals. On July 28th, from 3 p.m., it will present the wide range of Berlin film festivals in the Kulturfabrik Moabit. For one day and one night, film lovers will be offered an exciting and entertaining platform with screenings, concerts and other events.



Presented by 25 Berlin film festivals: with children's cartoon box, films of all genres and from all over the world, indie concert and party.


The program:


The festival begins at 3 p.m. in the courtyard and in the open air with an animation workshop led by Haplo and Katharina from bilderbewegen. This will be followed by a performance by Ukrainian surf dub girl band Chillera and musician Mavka. At 8:45 p.m., the network of Berlin film festivals will be introduced, followed by the screening of the director duo Elisa Mishto and Alexandre Powelz with their work "Moderat - The Last Days", which will open the film program. The open air evening ends with short films and special guests.


At the same time, the KUKI film program for children and young people starts at 3 p.m. in the Filmrauschpalast. At 6 p.m. the results of the afternoon workshop will be presented. From 6:30 p.m. until late at night, all visitors can enjoy the program in the Filmrauschpalast, including films such as "Return to Reims" and the German premiere of the Sundance 2023 short film reel.


Rocking and partying starts at 9 p.m. in the Slaughterhouse. Shimmer makes Neo-Hardcore glow and from 10:00 p.m. Die Loserer will ensure a hot atmosphere with Berlin indie sounds. DJ Henryk Gericke (Tapetopia GDR Underground) and DJ Grace Kelly transform the Slaughterhouse into a party zone until the early hours.


The Long Night of Berlin Film Festivals is part of the 2023 Cultural Summer Festival and takes place in cooperation with Kulturprojekte Berlin.
