Performance . Revival by Oozing Gloop & Anali Goldberg in the frame of Tanznacht Berlin 2025: Vocal Affairs
“BAD GIRL” is a collaboration between derelict-drag performers Oozing Gloop and Anali Goldberg — two quick-witted disasters with ADHD and terrible taste. In their roles as Agnes and Lydia von Puffendorf, they open a door into their intimate psyches.
To celebrate the absurdity inherent in our normality; not as figures of authority, but also — not as victims. These robust women inhabit a fragile space - These BAD GIRLS have gone on holiday!
“BAD GIRLS” was born out of a desire to create fast, playful work that is socially attuned to the audience's cultural position, and brings Gloop and Goldberg's particular post-theatrical, post-drag flavour of regret to the stage.
Expect excessive presence, wild storytelling and a community between audience and performers, in which people can laugh and cry together. From nightclub debut to theatre premiere — this is drag off the rails.
Additional information
Concept, Production, Performance: Oozing Gloop & Anali Goldberg
Light Design, Production Management: Bryan Schall
Assistance: Judith Jung
A production by BAD GIRLS in co-operation with Sophiensæle.
Oozing Gloop and Anali Goldberg (all pronouns) combine the radical DIY ethos of drag and performance art with sophisticated, formally innovative theatre practices. Their performances are entertaining and at the same time intellectually and emotionally provocative. They combine grotesque humour, avant-garde aesthetics and autobiographical narratives in a way that challenges and enriches the audience's understanding of identity, history and social norms.
