The Hotel Wilmina is part of a 19th-century historic complex and is located in the former Charlottenburg Women’s Prison. Hidden behind intertwining courtyards and lush gardens, the historic building has been carefully transformed by Grüntuch Ernst Architekten into a contemplative, sustainable retreat in the heart of Berlin. This was achieved in a sensitive dialogue with the existing spaces and traces of its former use. As a family-run design boutique hotel comprising 44 rooms and suites, 22 apartments, a rooftop terrace, library, bar, spa and gym, the Wilmina offers guests a high degree of tranquillity and comfort. The complex includes the fine-dining restaurant Lovis, LOTTA day bar, which serves homemade specialities, and the in-house Wilmina Brot bakery. The Hotel Wilmina is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and has been awarded the Greensign certification. It is also one of the few Berlin hotels to have been awarded the Michelin Key.
