Glamour and glitz - the area around Oranienburger Straße is a popular meeting place for a successful evening out. Hackescher Markt is lined with one restaurant after another. Numerous bars and clubs also invite you to go out here. Those who prefer culture can visit a cinema, the Chameleon Theatre or a vernissage in the surrounding studios. A highlight is the Hackesche Höfe, a lovingly restored Art Nouveau complex with several inner courtyards. You can enjoy the special ambience in the cafés and watch the colourful hustle and bustle of the night owls.

Right next door is Haus Schwarzenberg, an alternative art and cultural centre with roots in the 1990s. Here you will find the Neurotitan Gallery, the Central cinema, the quirky Monsterkabinett and the legendary Eschschloraque bar - an authentic piece of Berlin subculture.

Oranienburger Straße

With the TV tower behind you and the Spree in sight, it's worth taking a walk to Monbijoupark after a cinema visit to Hackesche Höfe. On warm summer evenings, people dance outdoors there - a particularly lively Berlin experience.

The Fotografiska photo museum is also located directly on Oranienburger Straße, where contemporary photography and art are on display until late at night. Round off your visit with a drink in the stylish Bar Clara above the rooftops of the city.

What is the best way to get to Oranienburger Straße?

And finally, one more request:

There is still a lot going on around Oranienburger Straße late at night. Please be considerate of local residents - party in bars, clubs and restaurants, but avoid loud conversations and music on the street after 10 pm.
