What makes a pot a pot and a bottle a bottle? And what would your everyday life be like without these vessels? Most of the vessel shapes we use today were first formed from clay by our ancestors in the Stone Age. And from the very beginning, they richly decorated them with intricate patterns.

At the Museum of Prehistory and Early History, you'll discover fascinating vessels spanning several millennia and learn about the people who created them. Afterward, you'll shape your own clay vessel and personalize it with incisions, stamps, and paint, creating your own unique style.

  • Three-day workshop: Wed to Fri / 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. / April 8–10, 2026
  • Participation fee for all three days: €36
