In this 4-day Easter vacation course, children aged 12 and over design posters and fanzines - inspired by Berlin's subculture.

The participating children immerse themselves in Berlin subcultures: How did punks, street artists or squatters change the city? What did they want to achieve and what did their creative protest look like?

Together, you will look at examples from the last 100 years. We discover how people were able to shape their city with courage, creativity and little money, and then the children get active themselves: they use collages, drawings, stencils and do-it-yourself techniques to make their own themes visible. They design their ideas as posters and fanzines - small booklets that have been and continue to be used by creative scenes and protest movements around the world. In this way, they show their perspective on the city.
