An exhibition organised by the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing
A home is far more than just four walls: it means a sense of security, quality of life and community. It is the place where people go about their daily lives and where neighbourhoods flourish. The way we live shapes not only our personal lives, but also the character of our city.

The exhibition ‘Your Home – Our Mission: Living in Berlin’ invites you to discover the future of housing in Berlin. Through a selection of projects, it shows how the State of Berlin, together with its partners, is creating new housing, developing sustainable neighbourhoods and carefully revitalising existing districts.
It becomes clear that vibrant and liveable neighbourhoods are not created solely by building new flats. The key lies in the interplay between politics, public administration, the housing sector and urban society. Together, they create places where people enjoy living, both today and in the future.
Discover fascinating insights into Berlin’s urban development and find out how initial ideas are turned into concrete projects. The exhibition shows how the housing of tomorrow can be shaped – for a liveable, diverse and sustainable city.
