The Essen-based artist Yola first caught the public’s attention in 2024 with her debut single “nimmerland”—a dreamy introduction to a musical world she has been steadily shaping ever since.
With songs like “einseinsnull” and the emotional “briefe an meinen bruder,” she demonstrates artistic depth, authenticity, and a keen sense of language and atmosphere, but she can also get loud and sassy, as she proves on songs like “HEY!” and “blonde maus”!
