Twelve cellos, a distinctive sound and a great deal of enthusiasm: with their rousing programmes and original arrangements, the 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic are among the world’s most famous chamber music ensembles.

Although the programme has not yet been finalised, it will showcase that interplay of depth, humour and lightness that has become the hallmark of the 12 Cellists.
Another highlight: the ensemble will be joined by global superstar Yo-Yo Ma. The cellist is also a master of crossing stylistic boundaries, from classical music through jazz, folk and tango to world music.
