The three-hour city tour begins at the Hackesche Höfe. After a welcome, you’ll get a brief insight into the eventful history and diversity of Berlin’s ‘Mitte’ district. Then it’s off into the thick of things: along bustling streets, past historic buildings, into the courtyards – and popping into various restaurants along the way.

Whether it’s Museum Island with its world-famous buildings and collections, Berlin Cathedral, the City Palace, the Red Town Hall or the TV Tower – there’s no shortage of architectural masterpieces, all within a very small area.
We also place great importance on telling the human stories behind the façades: the dramatic lives of crooks, executioners, martyrs, pioneers, artists and politicians who have made Berlin-Mitte the vibrant, diverse neighbourhood and cultural melting pot that we cherish today.
