LIAISONS brings together the sculptures of Wolfgang Flad and the paintings of Tanja Selzer in a joint exhibition for the first time. Both artists explore organic structures, growth and change in different ways.

Flad’s sculptures are reminiscent of natural growth processes and unfold in space as open, biomorphic forms. Selzer’s paintings draw on plants, landscapes, colour and light to create multi-layered pictorial spaces that oscillate between figuration and dissolution.
Through the dialogue between their works, connections emerge between form and space, colour and material, humankind and nature, perception and memory. LIAISONS invites visitors to discover these relationships through their own eyes.
