Wedding Slam Royale

Fine chocolate tasting blends with poetry to match, and when you’re left feeling the rush of happiness and pure bliss afterwards, you won’t even know whether it came from the verses or the chocolate.

The Wedding Slam Royale is the only monthly deluxe format in Berlin’s poetry slam scene. Every edition is different: at Berlin’s only regular deluxe slam show, we regularly bring poetry slam together with other art forms: crime fiction, jazz, drama, painting, improv, comedy… Every show is absolutely unique!

Where does the Wedding Slam Royale take place?

The Wedding Slam Royale’s regular venue is the Ballhaus Wedding – a supremely stylish hall for around 150 guests, near Osloer Straße. The Ballhaus Wedding brings this extraordinary show to a venue that couldn’t be more fitting: between chandeliers and flaking plaster, a gold-adorned entrance hall and, well, Wedding itself.

Extraordinary poetry slams: Every month, we’ll surprise you with a different art form to enrich the evening: on the programme are art songs, drama, improv theatre, stand-up, piano and jazz.

And don’t worry: if you particularly like a format, they’ll of course bring it back!
