More than 23 billion kilometers from Earth—so far, only one human-made object has ventured this far into space: the Voyager 1 spacecraft. In late summer 1977, the two spacecraft, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, launched from Cape Canaveral into space toward the four giant planets of our solar system.

Their journey has not only vastly expanded our knowledge of the alien worlds of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, but they also serve as ambassadors for our own planet: each carries a golden record containing sounds and images of Earth—a greeting to any potential extraterrestrial intelligence.

In “Voyager – The Infinite Journey,” the audience accompanies the two space probes on their flight and learns what has since been discovered about the outer reaches of our solar system through more recent missions.

The original production from Ukraine has been expanded to include a live segment and can be heard via headphones in Ukrainian, English, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Czech; the live segment takes place in German.
