An evening of concert music characterised by great musical diversity: Antonio Vivaldi’s *Le quattro stagioni* means that all four seasons feature on the programme. The second half of the concert is devoted to further masterpieces of European classical music and promises a varied journey through musical history.

Founded in 2001 by freelance professional musicians from all over the world, the Neue Philharmonie Hamburg has long since established itself on the North German music scene. At its heart is a well-rehearsed chamber orchestra, which can be expanded to a full symphonic line-up depending on the programme. Guest performances in Spain, France, Italy and South Korea have also helped the ensemble build an international audience. The musical direction is under the baton of concertmaster Tigran Mikaelyan.
