Exhibition Opening
Scholarship holders Claudia Durastanti and Logan February will speak at the opening of the exhibition ‘Vessel & Voyager’. Clara Herrmann (Director of the JUNGE AKADEMIE) and Linnéa Meiners (Curatorial Scholarship Holder) will give an introduction to the show.

Manos Tsangaris, President of the Akademie der Künste, will welcome guests. Scholarship holders Khensani Jurczok-de Klerk, Hrishikesh Pawar, Sophie Seita and Josephine Macken will present performances in the exhibition halls.
‘Vessel & Voyager’ is the new exhibition project of the JUNGE AKADEMIE, the international and interdisciplinary scholarship programme of the Academy of Arts. In the exhibition, 25 artists present new works that they developed during their residencies. They explore scope for artistic creation and action in times of diverse and escalating crises and deal with the themes of loss and memory, body and healing, protection and community. On display are photographs, prints, collages, video works, spatial and sound installations, sculptures, drawings and assemblages.
