Book premiere with Dagmar Manzel, Thomas Grimm and Gerhard Wolf

In 2008 Thomas Grimm conducted an interview with Christa Wolf and her husband Gerhard Wolf. In the interview, Christa Wolf remembers everyday life in the GDR, the surveillance by the Stasi and the peaceful revolution of 1989, of which she was one of the most important voices.
Christa Wolf talks about her futile hope for a truly democratic socialism in the GDR, about reunification and her impressions of the changing art and culture scene.
Their social diagnoses are far ahead of their time, whether it concerns the departure of young people from East Germany, the spread of right-wing attitudes, or the impending consequences of climate change.
