An unforgettable evening in the “living room of the songwriters”
TV Noir is the songwriters' living room - and has been for over 10 years. At the TV Noir shows in the Admiralspalast in Berlin, as always, two excellent musicians will sit on the sofa next to presenter Tex and of course perform a few songs. The TV Noir concert series is now as much a part of Berlin as the television tower or the Spree.
The guest list is impressive every year: greats like Bosse, Clueso, Lotte, Alice Merton and Milky Chance have sat on the TV Noir couch.
In addition, there are always promising young indies and insider tips for whom the visit meant a decisive career kick. Thanks to the Internet, songwriters like Alin Coen, Philipp Poisel and Boy became known and left an enthusiastic audience with their guest appearances, even before they became widely celebrated artists.
The improvisations and spontaneous games, prepared by the team over a long period of time, create the likeable craziness that is unique to TV Noir. The musical performances are the heart of the show. Whether it's strings, pianos and acoustic guitars, or experimental arrangements: there's room for everything here. You have never experienced the artists and their songs as rousing and unusual as they are here.
"TV Noir enables what can no longer be done on television: that art is in the foreground." (Clueso)
