The Derby Meeting at the Mariendorf Trotting Track has a unique appeal that extends far beyond the borders of the German capital.
This year, the major event will take place over a total of five days between August 1 and 16.
Of these five dates, Sunday, August 2, is especially recommended for all visitors.
That’s when the Derby preliminaries will feature the very horses that will compete in the grand finale on August 16. Two trotters stand out quite clearly.
Namely, the gelding Blizzard Diamant and the stallion Fragolino Rosso, both of whom are considered top favorites.
A total of one million euros in prize money will be distributed to the top finishers at the Derby Meeting.
Admission is 10 euros on all days. This amount already includes 4 euros in betting vouchers.
Admission to the events is free for children and teenagers under 18.
