‘Transport: Frontline’ transports the audience right into the heart of a war zone, where, through the lens of a war photographer, they bear witness to the events and the humanitarian catastrophe. In doing so, the camera becomes more than just a tool for documentation – it symbolises perspective, responsibility and moral reflection.

With this production, the Estonian Theatre for Young Audiences explores the limits of what can be depicted: when does an image create space for empathy, and when does it slip into the aestheticisation of suffering? How does the media’s perspective shape our perception of conflicts?

‘Transport’ is a six-part theatre series celebrated across Europe that explores the impact of mobility in a globalised world.

All productions utilise bespoke set designs featuring realistically rendered spaces, buildings, streets and public infrastructure, populated by 3D-printed characters. With a style of performance inspired by animated film and a 3D soundscape, an immersive experience is created for the audience.
