Transport: Departure

‘Transport: Departure’ powerfully documents the story of a family whose home fell victim to the floodwaters.

This production by the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre explores how individual decisions are intertwined with political and economic structures, and asks what kind of future is still possible if humanity continues to ignore the limits of nature. ‘Transport’ is a six-part theatre series celebrated across Europe that explores the impact of mobility in a globalised world. All productions utilise bespoke set designs featuring realistically rendered spaces, buildings, streets and public infrastructure, populated by 3D-printed characters.

With a style of performance inspired by animated film and a 3D soundscape, an immersive experience is created for the audience.
