Influenced by Nigerian music legends such as King Sunny Adé and Ebenezer Obey, the musician continued to develop his own distinctive style after moving to Accra, where he discovered the diversity of African pop music.
His latest EP, *Hope Our Paths Cross*, showcases a particularly personal and reflective side to Tommy WÁ.
In November, the new material can be experienced live in Berlin when the musician performs at the Prachtwerk as part of his tour of the same name – an intimate evening blending indie-folk, soul and African influences.
