Tim Becker brings stand-up comedy with puppets to the stage. He develops conversations brimming with humor and precise punchlines, without holding back. His humor is anything but tame—often biting and always incomparably funny.
After the intermission, a strange transformation takes place. Like Dr. Jekyll turning into Mr. Hyde, the man on stage transforms. Before the audience stands a figure who seems like a cross between a provincial magician in a glittery tailcoat and a Saxon version of Horst Schlämmer. Bawdy, disturbing, and yet fascinating, this "poor man's Copperfield" captivates the audience.
Previously only the secret star of the Tim Becker show, Umeno now shines for at least half the evening.
